Campsites We Love
We've found some amazing campsites during our travels and want to share our favourites with you.
East Dean

New House Farm campsite in East Dean, West Sussex is field after field of beautiful farmland. After a mile of track you end up in your own slice of peaceful heaven.

If you want to get away from all this peace and quiet, Goodwood Estate is nearby where you might enjoy the horseraces, or motorsport or any other event they may have on. Two great local pubs are the Star & Garter, East Dean and The Fox Goes Free, West Dean.

Camping Fees are £5 per vehicle and £5 per person per night. Fires are allowed and Steve, the owner, sells logs. Call him to book on 01243 811685.

Grafham

Grafham is our woodland paradise.

A peaceful site in the South Downs, near Petworth House and historic Petworth.
You’ll find yourself pitched in secluded glades surrounded by trees and rhododendron bushes.
Dog owners and walkers will love the many paths and tracks leading from the campsite onto the surrounding heaths and downs. The 90-mile South Downs Way passes close to the campsite, perfect for those wanting to explore the area by bike.
North of Graffham campsite, the magnificent ruins of the Tudor Cowdray House at Midhurst make for a pleasant day out. Lurgashall Winery near Petworth produces fine country wines, meads and liquers. Tours and wine tastings are available.
The town of Arundel has a castle, museum and heritage centre, while beach lovers should head for Littlehampton, Worthing, East and West Wittering and Bognor Regis.
Charcoal barbecues and open fires are not allowed on this site due to surrounding environment. Gas or electrical appliances only.

Camping fees are £13 per person per night.

Climping Beach

If you're looking for a beach holiday then Climping is your perfect spot!

Climping beach is a quiet rural beach located about halfway Littlehampton and Bognor. Like many of the beaches along this stretch of the Sussex coast it is made up of shingle and pebbles held in place by a series of wooden groynes.

There is a large car park and small cafe with lots of great walks from the campsite.

Campsite Fees are £15-20 per night per vehicle. Phone Craig on 07756699733 to book in advance as there are barriers.

Lymington & New Forest

We've been going here for years and love it! The campsite we love is Hurstview Campsite, Lower Pennington Lane, Lymington, SO41 8AL. It's right on the coast and 5 minutes walk to the nature reserve.
So much to do in the area, the ferry runs from Lymington to the Isle of Wight. Also Hurstview Castle and you can get the train to Poole etc etc!

Give them a call on 01590 671648 to book.

Arundel

West Wittering

One of our favourite places to visit for the weekend. You can park for free on the side of the road down near the castle or pay £10 per night in a big field behind the car park. Great pubs and restaurants, Arundel Castle, rowing boats on the lake, crazy golf and loads of great walks. Perfect!
There are too many campsites here to highlight one in particular. Best to look around for the one that suits you best.
